Chelsea No2 Jody Morris is delighted with his return to the club.

"It's an amazing feeling to be back," Morris told the club's website.

"Obviously the five years I had working in the Academy were amazing but after leaving for Derby last year, to come back now really does feel like I've come home."

It feels amazing to be back here now."

The former midfielder has followed Lampard from Derby to Chelsea to take up the role of assistant head coach, having previously enjoyed five hugely successful years working in the Academy.

Morris added: "I've seen first-hand how Frank can galvanise a place, he brought the fans and the club together at Derby, and the way the place was united throughout the club was largely down to how Frank went about his way as a manager.

"It was a joy to watch and I'm looking forward to working with the players we have here at Chelsea, some really talented guys and a lot of exciting young players too.
