Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has said that they will make a call on the fitness of Tammy Abraham on the day of the game against Aston Villa.
The Blues face Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday night and Abraham is a doubt for the match, after missing the defeat to West Ham through injury over the weekend.
Chelsea did lack Abraham’s presence in the box against West Ham but, like Lampard says, you cannot put the defeat down to just that.
Do Chelsea need to sign another striker?
Hopefully Abraham will be able to make it for the clash with Villa on Wednesday and lead the line, as he looks to catch up with Jamie Vardy at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
He can’t just be the reason for losing the game [against West Ham].
