Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has already got a taste for Premier League goals.

"If I get anywhere near to what go last season, it's a fantastic year for me.” Just four games into his first Premier League season, Abraham is fourth in the goalscoring charts behind Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Teemu Peeku.

“I always say to myself, you know, I want to hit close to what I got last season in terms of goals," Abraham added.

Abraham scored 26 Championship goals to help fire Aston Villa into the Premier League while on loan their last season, and has set his sights on going close to that tally this term.

Abraham says he is relishing the opportunity to "follow in the footsteps" of Didier Drogba as the spearhead of Franks Lampard's attack, and has enjoyed a fine start to life under Frank Lampard.

“[Lamprd's] always believed in me," Abraham told the Mirror.

The 21-year-old scored for the first time in the top flight at Norwich last month before doubling his tally later in that game and following it with another brace against Sheffield United.
