Chelsea's forgotten man Victor Moses flagged himself up to Frank Lampard with a goal in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

The Nigeria winger, who spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and Fenerbahce, was involved as a Blues' development squad took on AFC Wimbledon at Chelsea's Cobham training ground.

The defence has also been bolstered with left-back Ben Chilwell as well as centre-halves Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.

And he barely fared better at Villa, playing four league games, with his half-season stint marred by an altercation with team-mate Jota in training.

Frank Lampard's team have made wavs by signing Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva.

Moses scored from the spot in the 1-1 draw, in which midfielder Danny Drinkwater also played following loan spells last season at Aston Villa and Burnley.
