Chelsea attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic said he is proud of how he has adapted to life at the Blues despite a difficult start to life in the Premier League.

"I think I'm really proud of how I pushed through things and then I got my opportunity, and I felt I was playing very well recently, and I'm proud.

Pulisic has been out of action since the start of the month with an adductor injury, and he is likely to be ruled out until early February.

"You know, everyone says I'm going to go into the Premier League, it's a big change, it's tough," he said.

The football culture here is amazing, and I'm really happy, and I'm so excited to finish off the season strong."

"Him being a former player, I've watched him a lot and obviously respected him so much as a player," he added.

He exploded onto the scene in November, however, by scoring a hat-trick against Burnley in the Premier League, and has gone on to score three more times to help his side to fourth place in the table.
