On-loan Manchester City defender Pedro Porro has been fined by police for breaching coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

The right-back, who is currently on loan at Valladolid, was fined nine miles from his home in Spain.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to the agents of the Valladolid Local Police who stopped me for the tension at the time and for the words I said after.

It read: "I just went to a shop and have been fined for going from my house to the Valladolid centre.

"They, like all of the state security forces and organisations, were only doing their job, which is to protect all of us."

"I only went to buy something and I ended up getting fined.

He released a statement slamming authorities.
