Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his Manchester United players that they cannot afford to fall behind the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in the race to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.

Since then, United have drawn 1-1 with Wolves, lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace and drawn 1-1 with Southampton, leaving them three two points behind Palace in fourth spot.

United are currently level on points with Spurs and Chelsea, and two behind Arsenal, ahead of a game against Leicester City, who currently sit third with eight points after an unbeaten start to the new campaign.

For our players who want to push closer to [Manchester] City and Liverpool, here's your chance."

United have had a mixed start to the new season, picking up five points from their opening four games, with just two points from their last three after a 4-0 win against Chelsea on the opening weekend.

"It's a great test and a great challenge.

We are coming into a busy period now, we don't want to be behind Tottenham, Chelsea or Arsenal.
