Olivier Giroud's move to Inter Milan looks set to be forced through in the coming days.

As such, there has been plenty of speculation over his long-term future in west London, with Premier League duo Aston Villa and Newcastle United both among the potential suitors as Giroud looks for more regular game time ahead of the European Championships this summer.

This means not much stands in the way of Giroud to Inter Milan.

But a deal looks likely to be agreed soon, with Giroud apparently agreeing to give up €1m over his two-and-a-half year deal to get a deal done.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Inter chief continued negotiations with Chelsea for Olivier Giroud, and also took a meeting with Spurs about Christian Eriksen’s future.

The Chelsea striker has had a frustrating season so far, stuck behind Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi in the pecking order under new manager Frank Lampard.

Inter Milan are said to have agreed terms with Giroud ahead of a potential move.
