Tammy Abraham has slammed speculation that he has demanded to be Chelsea's highest earner on over £180,000-per-week.

Abraham, who has become Chelsea's No 1 striker this season under Frank Lampard after scoring 13 goals in 25 Premier League matches, has rejected the latest contract offer from the club.

Abraham has witnessed a number of first-team players sign new deals at Stamford Bridge, most notably Callum Hudson-Odoi, who sealed a a five-year last September worth an estimated £180,000-per-week contract.

A report in the Telegraph recently claimed that Abraham has not asked to be paid more than £180,000-per-week or become Chelsea's highest earner.

The 22-year-old has since emphatically backed up this report after a Chelsea fan group posted the Telegraph's story on Instagram.

Abraham, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2022, simply replied: 'Finally some real news'.

Abraham was enjoying a successful breakthrough season at Chelsea after coming back on loan from Aston Villa in the summer.
