Manchester United sealed their spot in the top four at the weekend after Chelsea’s 6-0 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s defending champions, while Arsenal also leapfrogged the Blues courtesy of their higher tally of goals scored.

While Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham go toe-to-toe for the Premier League title, the battle beneath them for a top-four finish is equally as tight.

Arsenal are currently ranked at 3/1 to seal a return to the Champions League for the first time in two seasons, with Unai Emery’s side clearly ranked as the outsiders heading into the final months of the campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tremendous form with United has put the Red Devils as evens to finish in the top-four, according to Oddschecker, ahead of Chelsea who are priced at 5/4.

With 12 weeks to go in the season, the lure of Champions League football next season is strong, although all three clubs have another avenue into the competition via success in the continental tournaments they are currently involved in.
